Boerenbox is a meal kit for two people that enables people to eat healthy and sustainable. We provide our customers with a meal kit and an easy recipe. The ingredients in Boerenbox are sourced in the Nijmegen area. We pay a fair price to the farmers, while you enjoy a healthy and fresh meal!
Locally sourced
Most of our products are produced by farmers in the Nijmegen region. By keeping the supply chain short, we are able to offer sustainable meals.
Fair prices
We pay our farmers fair prices for their hard work, meanwhile are able to keep prices low because of our short supply chain. You only pay €5,95 for two portions!
Easy
We're students, not pro-cooks. Our recipes are easy and quick to make. Not much cooking experience is needed! Besides, you can simply pick up your Boerenbox on campus!

Starting at the 31st of January 2023 our presence on campus will be a fact! Every Tuesday between 16.00h and 17.30h, we will be at the Refter on Campus. We recommend you to order your Boerenbox in advance, so we can ensure that we have a delicious meal for you! We serve people without orders on a first come, first serve basis.

Arno de Beijer’s strawberry orchard is located in Doornenburg, Gelderland. In his nursery everything revolves around taste and experience, and you can taste that!
Twan Houterman
Twan Houterman is the proud owner of arable farm Betuwe Brassica in Bemmel. Twan and his wife combine their work with their care farm De Groote Locht.
Bas Beijer
Asparagus grower Bas Beijer and his wife Floor grow the most delicious asparagus in Groesbeek. Together they also have a country shop where they sell regional products.
